Victor H. Dietz, President

Board Member Biography

Victor brings a comprehensive record of results in legal practice, teaching, and public service.

He has been recognized by the Governor of IA for his pro bono work as a Mediator for the IA Civil Rights Commission. Victor was also Honored by the IA Supreme Court for his pro bono legal services extended to underprivileged citizens.

Victor served as Alderman in Batavia from 2005-2013 and chaired the Government Services Committee from 2011-2013. He was able to save the City of Batavia $50,000 by carefully reviewing and critiquing bid specifications associated with the purchase of a tower ladder fire truck.

As President of Valley Sheltered Workshop, Victor uses his past committee public service experiences to help move the Workshop’s goals towards success. He has served as President of the Valley Sheltered Workshop Board since 2016.

Victor H. Dietz, MAPC, JD is a retired attorney. He holds several degrees including a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling, a law degree from Northern IL Univ., a bachelor’s degree from BYU.
